Vacation Bible School – VBS

Welcome to Vacation Bible School at Grace Lutheran Church By-The-Sea!

Our Vacation Bible School (VBS) program is an integral part of our Children’s Ministry, with the purpose of sharing the love of our Lord and Savior Jesus with the children and their families living in the Outer Banks community and beyond. VBS is a week-long morning program held annually in the last week of June.

At VBS, children praise God through daily Bible lessons, crafts, games, music, science, and snacks. Following the Closing Program at the end of the week, the children, their families, and VBS staff gather for lunch and fellowship at the church.

It’s free and open to all in the Outer Banks community

We do not charge a fee to attend our VBS. Our VBS program is open to children ages 4 through 11, and to children age 3 accompanied by an adult. Ages 12+ are invited to participate as Helpers. We welcome adults as volunteers in all areas.
